Install Glitch Palace

Use the downloaded file in VS Code with Claude Code or Codex.

  1. 1. Open the command menu

    Press ⌘⇧P on Mac or Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows.

  2. 2. Install the file

    Type Extensions: Install from VSIX. Choose glitchpalace-0.1.16.vsix from Downloads.

  3. 3. Start playing

    The welcome screen opens. Click Try a quick demo. Click the bottom-bar reels to spin, or focus the terminal and press Cmd+Shift+Space on Mac or Ctrl+Shift+Space on Windows/Linux.

  4. 4. Connect your coding agent

    Choose Connect Claude Code or Connect Codex in the welcome screen. Agent hooks require Mac or Linux. For Codex, restart Codex and review and trust the Glitch Palace hooks in /hooks.
